Daily Exercise

Over the past few weeks we've all been sticking to the rules, staying at home and getting out for our daily exercise. If you've taken some pictures of your adventures then why not post them on our Facebook page to inspire others.

South Devon CTC have been running a Scavenger Hunt to encourage their members. If you'd like to take part in something similar in the Exeter area then please contact me at royjrussell@gmail.com.

The Highwayman

If you're looking for something interesting to read, South Devon CTC publish a colour magazine called "The Highwayman" that is available as a printed magazine or on-line. Ten issues are published each year and the printed copy is circulated to around 200 members.

Donations to Good Causes

Your Exeter CTC Committee has been having "virtual meetings" and agreed to make the following donations to local good causes:

Ride-On £1,000

Exeter Cycling Campaign £500

The Future

One day soon we hope to be out riding in groups again with visits to cafes for coffee and cake.

However, in the meantime you've probably seen that the government guidance has been relaxed in England so that we can now cycle with up to five other people provided we continue to observe social distancing rules by staying two metres apart: www.cyclinguk.org

However the guidance also states that we should continue to stay alert and limit contact with others and that staying at home is the easiest way to do this.

For now CTC rides are suspended, but we continue to monitor advice from Cycling UK and look forward to our rides in the future.

Stay Safe

Roy
