Greendale Farm Shop is on the south side of the A3052 Sidmouth Road. The closest access roads are both from Farringdon to the north but an approach from White Cross avoids the uncomfortable right turn into the farm shop site. BETTER BY FAR to come into Woodbury Salterton and take the Greendale Road directly opposite the Diggers' Rest. 150 yards on the left is a well marked foot and cycle path which leads across fields (scenic in parts) to the café. Though it is civil of the Greendale people to provide a path it is as yet rather rough and mostly loose gravel. Riders without off-road experience may prefer to walk some of the way.

It is important that you don’t avoid cycling altogether as it remains a great way to keep fit and active and is a good way to boost immunity. However please note the latest advice from Cycling UK is to avoid cycling in a group of more than one person, unless you are already co-habiting. In other words, families, partners and house shares who live together. Be Safe.

Bike Bus Routes

Some bike bus routes can be found here.

The Small Print

The Bike Bus is primarily organised for CTC Members and those new to leisure cycling who would like to try out cycling in company. For insurance and liability reasons regular riders are expected to be members of the CTC. Newcomers who wish to try out the Bike Bus can join up to three rides without taking out membership but are required to complete a Guest Rider Registration Form for each ride.
