If you have time to spare midweek, there are "Coffee Pot" runs every Thursday which meet up at a designated
 +
cafe at 10:30 am.
 +
You can choose your own route to and from the coffee stop - or you can link up with other cyclists to ride there together.
 +
The majority of participants join the Exeter or West Hill Bike Buses to cycle in company to the coffee stop.
 +
Please see the [[ExeterBikeBus|Bike Bus]] page for the coffee stop schedule. Also, where possible, please use the booking system there, even if you are not joining a Bike Bus, this helps enormously in advising cafes of likely numbers.

The Exeter CTC Coffee Pot rides have a long history. They were started back in February 1982 by Jean Luxton and the first ride was to Morrison’s at Tiverton.  Originally the rides we’re fortnightly but this was changed to be a weekly event later on in the eighties. More recently the Coffee Pot destinations have been organised by Jean Brierly. However, since Jean's departure from Devon in 2020 the coffee pot destinations have been taken on by the Bike Bus organisers and all details are now found on the Bike Bus page.
