To celebrate the opening of the Town Quay Bridge in Newton Abbot, the CTC organised various 'Star' rides with six different start points all finishing in the grounds of Forde House in Newton Abbot.
The Red ride from Exeter led by Roy Russell had 19 riders.
The Orange ride from Totnes led by Andy Endicott and Julie Lang attracted 12 riders
The Yellow ride from Dunsford led by Dave Prudden, Rod Pash and Martin Read had 11 riders
The Green ride from Moretonhampstead led by Steve and Angela Sanders, Chris Whatley and Kevin Presland attracted 8 riders
The Blue ride from Buckfastleigh led by Toby + Nikki Sharp and the South Hams Group had 5 riders
The Purple ride from Paignton led by Rob Swayne, Mike Taylor and Paul Harman attracted 40 riders
